Judge allows commencement at Wisconsin church

As usual Americans United for Separation of Church and State seeks to crush all possible religious expression under the banner of a concern for First Amendment Rights. Genuine or not, their strict breed of secularism suffered a loss recently. This loss shows that not everyone who is unaffiliated with the Christian Coalition is going to agree with their views. I myself would hope they realize that already, but I have my doubts.

According to the Associated Press federal judge Charles Clevert decided that "a public school district in a Milwaukee suburb may continue to hold its graduation ceremonies in a church."

It was Americans United, a militant secularist organization, that brought a lawsuit to them and it was they who lost the case. The School district officials decided to use "its 3,200-seat capacity for convenience and comfort." In other words, a secular purpose.

And yet still Americans United was not content. They hated the fact that a church was anywhere near the youth of America. Even the Soviet Union allowed military processions nearby the Cathedral of Saint Basil the Blessed.
