Dominion and Power
Dominion and Power are all due Him
Whose City of Light shall ne'er go dim
Whose love illuminates each heart
And Whose glory no man can begin to chart
What Sovereign can compare to the Eternal King
Whose scepter dips blessing as church bells ring
Who sits enthroned atop the world of man
And the stars shall fall at His holy command
O Behold, behold, that Great City Untold
Whose silvery river flows by the streets of gold
With many pavilions of joy and peace
Where anthems of glory shall never decrease
With a reign so pure, rule secure, how could He
Come down as man, flesh and sand, to save me
On a cross most brutal and reviled
To descend to Sheol as crim'nal reviled
What blessed peace, full release from my sin
His blood atones, and bestows, blessing within
Once I was lost, a wilting flower
But I see, Trinity has all dominion and power.
